Our Story

QlickXL was founded with a simple mission: to help organisations unlock the true potential of their data through expert Business Intelligence consulting and training.

With over 15 years of experience in the BI industry, we've witnessed the evolution from traditional reporting to modern self-service analytics. Our expertise spans the entire BI ecosystem, from data warehousing and ETL processes to advanced visualisation and analytics platforms.

We believe that successful BI implementations go beyond technology: they require a deep understanding of business processes, user needs, and organisational culture. Our AI Journey

Business Intelligence is only part of the picture now. Since late 2024 we have worked hands-on with Claude across its successive releases, putting each new model to work on real client problems rather than watching from the sidelines.

Early, and hands-on

We began building with Claude in late 2024 and have stayed close to it through every major release, learning each model's strengths and limits on live projects, not in demos.

Software people depend on

We use AI in the loop to design, build and ship production software, from internal portals to customer-facing platforms, with the same rigour we bring to BI delivery.

Teaching what we have learned

That experience shapes our six-session Claude training, so teams get grounded guidance on what genuinely helps day to day and what to treat with caution.

It is one thing to follow AI from a distance, and another to have delivered with it day after day across a fast-moving lifecycle. That perspective sits behind every project and every course we run.

Adrian is a leading Qlik consultant with over 15 years of experience delivering expert Qlik and Power BI services across the UK. As a certified Qlik consultant and Microsoft Power BI specialist, he has helped organisations across many industries transform their data strategies, covering the full spectrum from strategy to implementation and support.

Since late 2024 he has worked hands-on with Claude across its successive releases, using it to build production software and to design QlickXL's AI training. The result is guidance rooted in real delivery rather than theory, whether the work is a dashboard, a bespoke application, or getting a whole team confident with AI.
